A day after the Uttar Pradesh Board Class 12 English examination paper was leaked in Ballia district of the state, seven extra folks, together with two native journalists have been arrested within the case, stated the police. The districts during which the examination was cancelled included Agra, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Bagpat, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Sitapur, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Chitrakoot, Ambedkarnagar, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Varanasi, Kanpur Dehat, Etah and Shamli. 

Based on the director of secondary schooling Vinay Kumar Pandey, the examination was cancelled in 24 districts on “suspicion of paper leak” of collection 316 ED and 316 EI of Intermediate English examination in Ballia. 

The examination will now be held on April 13 in these districts, stated an official, as quoted by PTI.
