Gulab Bari, the annual cultural occasion organised after two years, introduced collectively the music lovers of the town . The venue became a hue of pink and white, which was the color code of the programme, giving an ethereal really feel to the night. The women sported pink whereas males had been primarily in white. Ashok Gupta and Ashok Kapoor, the co-organisers gave a heat welcome to the company.

The occasion started with Ganesh vandana adopted by rendition by baby artists Arnav and Aarna Gupta. A duet on tabla and violin by Ashok Pandey and Sukhdev Mishra, additional rolled the night. The company soaked within the lovely notes of the devices. The spotlight of the occasion was vocalist Malini Awasthi, who regaled the viewers by means of her vibrant efficiency. She introduced Holi, thumri, chaiti and rasia songs. Holi Khelo Mo Se Nandlal, rendered by her gained appreciation from the viewers. Many of the compositions sung by her had been of her late guru, Girija Devi.
