PATNA: DM Chandrashekhar Singh on Tuesday directed the officers involved to serve notices to close down 138 teaching institutes in Patna district after rejecting their purposes for registration on a number of grounds, together with lack of enough infrastructure, below the Bihar Teaching Institute (Management and Regulation) Act, 2010.
The order was issued at a gathering of the district teaching institute registration committee chaired by the DM on Tuesday. District schooling officer Amit Kumar knowledgeable the committee that 609 purposes had been acquired prior to now for the registration of teaching institutes, however solely 287 have been allowed to function whereas 111 purposes had been rejected, he mentioned.
