Tirupur: The Mangalam police arrested 4 folks on Saturday for murdering a person from Uttar Pradesh, who visited the district along with his brother looking for work two days in the past.
The sufferer, M Rajkumar, 22, of Karseora village in Sitapur district of UP, had reached the Tirupur railway station on Thursday along with his brother M Brajlal, 18. They have been introduced by Balu, an agent of a staffing company.
Round 6pm, V Rajesh, 29, of Kannur in Kerala, an worker of the agency, requested the brothers to go to Namakkal district for housekeeping work. “However they refused, as they have been drained after the lengthy journey. An offended Rajesh and his co-workers P Nirmal, 35, of Pudukottai, B Vijaya Balaji, 34, of Kallakurichi and A Mohammed Suber, 32, of Krishnagiri, snatched Rajkumar’s cellphone. They locked the brothers in a room and attacked them with belts and sticks. On Friday round 1am, the 4 folks left with the duo in a van. Once they have been 10km away from Palladam, Rajkumar succumbed to the accidents. The gang dumped the physique, deserted Brajlal close to PAP canal on Velampalayam – Chinnakalipalayam Street and escaped,” a police officer mentioned.
