PATNA: After banning the diesel-run autorickshaws and 15-year-old buses from plying on Patna roads from April 1, the transport division is now planning to transform all of the diesel buses to compressed pure gasoline (CNG). The division has procured 50 CNG-run buses to section out all of the yellow diesel-powered buses from Patna municipal space and neighboring Danapur, Khagaul and Phulwarisharif.
The 24-seater inexperienced buses will hit the town roads within the first section by the tip of this month. Based on officers, there are round 370 diesel-run mini buses in Patna and they are going to be phased out in eight phases.
