MUMBAI: Chennai Tremendous Kings (CSK) batter Ambati Rayudu on Saturday created a stir when he tweeted that the continued Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 shall be his final version of taking part in within the event. However minutes later, Rayudu deleted the retirement tweet, leaving netizens in a frenzy.
"I'm joyful to announce that this shall be my final ipl. I've had an exquisite time taking part in it and being part of 2 nice groups for 13 years. Would like to sincerely thank Mumbai Indians and Csk for the fantastic journey," learn Rayudu's tweet on his official Twitter account.

In response to his tweet, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan had tweeted, "Performed cricket with you since our u-19 days. All the time admire your batting and vitality you give on the sector. Want you nicely on your journey forward brother. You might have finished very nicely and must be pleased with your achievement @RayuduAmbati."
However after Rayudu deleted the tweet, followers had been left questioning over why he retracted from his unique retirement announcement.
