LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh authorities on Sunday made it clear that no new order has been issued within the state relating to give up or cancellation of ration playing cards.
Refuting the experiences circulated on this regard in sure sections of the media as "deceptive and false", meals commissioner Saurav Babu stated, "Ration card verification is a standard course of which takes place sometimes. Baseless experiences are being circulated relating to give up of ration card and new eligibility circumstances."
He stated the eligibility/ineligibility criterion of family ration playing cards had been ascertained vide the federal government order dated October 7, 2014, and no adjustments had been made since then.
He stated no cardholder could possibly be declared ineligible on the premise of getting a pucca home below the federal government scheme, electrical energy connection, sole weapon licence holder, motor cycle proprietor, poultry/cow rearing.
"Equally, as per the Nationwide Meals Safety Act-2013 and different prevailing mandates, no provision of restoration from ineligible cardholders has been prescribed and no directions have been issued from the federal government degree or from the Meals Commissioner's workplace relating to restoration," he stated.
