Vadodara: The Nationwide College of Drama (NSD) in collaboration with M S College’s College of Performing Arts is organising Northeast Theatre Competition within the metropolis. The pageant will kick off from Monday.
Vadodara is among the three cities the place the theatre pageant will likely be held. The 2 different cities are Bikaner in Rajasthan and Bengaluru in Karnataka.
In Vadodara, the pageant will proceed until Could 20. A complete of 15 performs from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland have been chosen underneath the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ class.
This pageant is being organized to encourage viewers from different states and artists to construct up an understanding and connection between completely different cultures.
The theatre pageant will likely be inaugurated at Medical School auditorium of SSG Hospital by well-known writer-poet and littérateur professor Sitanshu Yashaschandra. Veteran actor and NSD chairman Paresh Rawal and NSD director professor Ramesh Chandra Gaur will stay current.
